scratches, grime, sorrow
traces of time wasted (by your sides)
disputes, fights, fall outs
twisted delight, burned up thoughts and minds
to discover what’s left behind,
forgotten imprints, (of) four different lines
(forgotten lines) like a triumph of those times
like a sketch for a better live
like a picture of what is mine
(trapped in four minds )
like a trail I leave behind
enough great jaunts for a second live
leave a grid to sort our mind
to discover what falls behind,
forsaken imprints – changing lines.
All of Liiek’s album covers are incredibly compelling, and their take on post-punk is just as appealing. As much as I liked their first album, this follow up is much more cohesive, delivering a perfect amalgamation of melody and dissonance. Glad I was able to find a copy on vinyl. kel kontraire
